Tips on how to get more job’s in 2009
You will be so surprised at how many job’s could come available after Christmas. This time of year, we all see a slow down in the writing sector. In case you haven’t noticed, you may also see a lot less visitors to your website or blog. It is very usual for this time of year and should pick back up after the New Year parties have all fizzled out.
With the economy being so bad and more layoffs to come in 2009, you can bet the farm that the freelance writers of the web will be in knock down, drag out competition over job’s. If you keep these next few tips in mind, you could have a better chance at landing the job’s you want.
1) Pay close attention to details (If you cant follow directions for how to contact them or what they would like you to send, then you will be tossed in the email trash right off the bat.)
2) Try to be the first to answer job ad’s (This will make your chances better that they pay attention. It is a fact that after reading so many emails a day, they will just start skimming through each one.)
3) Make a statement with your initial correspondents (The one they remember is usually the one they hire)
4.) Send them work you have done before or point them to blog’s, web-pages and articles that show your best work. (If they can sift through some of your work, they will better have a feel for your abilities.)
5) Be polite at all times even if you do not get the job. (They could be hiring again sooner or later)
Follow these simple tips and see how things turn out. You can start by checking out my job postings page to see which job you may want to apply for. I just added several last night with some more to come today. Have a great day and happy job hunting everyone.

Thanks for the tips. I haven’t seen the slowdown online yet. Luckily, my traffic is slowly growing.
I hope to keep it that way.
