Pay To Join Or Not?

Published by Robin Green at 9:35 am under Freelance, Jobs, Work from home Edit This

Working from home with all the databases out there should you have to pay to get the most up to date job information? I have done a number of jobs that were listed for free but have never joined anything that charges a fee. I have found a few freelance web sites that ask for a fee to get there most updated jobs and to be able to post and see job offers.

Is this right or wrong? Well a small fee would be ok with me provided they offer just what they say they do. Say you get a job from them and only pay $5.00 a month to be in that directory but the job pays $30 or so then yes I would say this could work. On the other hand if your fee is $30 and you only make $5 then I would say no way. Well the problem is weighing through the good and bad sites that offer job listings for freelance workers. I have yet to find a database that will give you customer reviews on these sites.

I would review each site with caution and learn and research each of them thoroughly before paying. They can be very helpful and if you have found one that works well please feel free to let us know the website and what is your opinion of it.

Here are a few free sites for freelance work opps.

Good advice, but I do not like GAF because you have to have $50 in your account to do a paypal transaction and get your money. I still have $18 in it and cannot get my money.
