I just wanted to give today to some very useful bloggers that are here with us all at Today.com. With the economy being what it is today I have picked up some really good tips from these two to save money. I would encourage everyone to take a look and see what kind of tips they have to offer.
One of my favorite for an overview on things to do is http://frugalliving.today.com/ . I have found the tips from this blog have actually helped me save money in many areas of my life.
Another great blog (which I also have learned a lot from on savings) is http://frugalmoms.today.com/ . She has a list of ways to save money on your everyday uses such a phone bills and electricity.
I know this is on a different topic than my own. I simply think it is useful to know how to save money at every turn. I am just now getting at that point in my life where savings has really become appealing to me and I know you will learn all sorts of things from these great blogs as well as other blogs on the same subject matter.

With Monday being Labor Day most people have a long weekend to do just what ever they want. My husband actually has a 4 day weekend because his usual week is Monday - Thursday. Lord what am I going to do with him for an extra day. I mean 3 is enough and now I have an extra one. We are saddened by the fact that our race day will now be on Monday, which is sure to be a good race but I will miss my Saturday race. I have been doing some more research on a couple of companies online and will be reviewing what I have come across next week starting on Tuesday.

Has anyone else out there been put at a stand still when the power goes out? Well I have been working from home for sometime now and I had to do without power yesterday due to storms that swept the area on Tuesday. I never really understood how much I would miss with just one day. Once logging back on I realized I had lost some work out there somewhere. I think maybe the Internet ate it but I cannot be sure. So I learned once again the hard way about backing things up thus the hot topic and tip for today. You never know when it can happen so the best advise is to always back up your work to disk. Luckily I only lost a few things that I have been working on this last 2 weeks and at least I still my resource’s to fall back on. Now all I have to do is rewrite what I had already written. So please to everyone out there back it up as often as you can. I would suggest you do it daily because you never know when this can happen to you.

If you have been around my blog awhile you may remember me speaking of a paralyzed young retired military man who has just over the last month started to race at TR Speedway. He is getting so much better every week and we look to see him in the winners circle before long. With his story being of courage WYFF 4 came out to the track a few weeks ago and did a story on him. They have just now posted it on there website and I thought I would pass it on. You can see the entire story at: http://www.wyff4.com/video/17286180/index.html
Way to go WYFF 4 great story! And as for Allen Wilson keep up the great work and continue to over come the odds! Your BIGGEST Fan Robin.
